Pyrantel Pamoate for dogs is often used where a large number of animals spend time together such as in dog kennels or feline catteries. This helps keep parasite levels at bay. Pyrantel Pamoate suspension is useful for at-home treatment whether the patient has two or four legs; however, if pinworms are still present after treatment then a physician or veterinarian should be consulted.
